SIRC Model

When modeling some diseases such as tuberculosis or typhoid fever, a carrier state is often introduced into the model to represent individuals that continue to carry the infection even after recovering from the disease. This model shows how this could be represented inside of VERA.

We can see the peak is higher in this model when compared to the template SIR model. Carriers, though not a large percentage, are capable of spreading the infection which causes an increase in infected individuals.
